Weathermap remote RRD

Post by bboy8012 »

I'm in the need to access my remote cacti RRDs, and trying to figure the best way. Brief setup I have 3 cacti servers all standalone of each region Asia, Europe, and US data centers. I want to be able to graph links from one site back to the datacenter of that region and graph it on my US cacti server. All server running Centos 7 have cacti 8.8f installed with weathermap .97c. I was thinking of just doing a nfs share from the cacti, back to the US one. Has anyone did this? Trying to see the most optimal way, as I'm doing 1 minute polling. Thought about rsync also and looked into rrdsrv. Just would like to gather input from the pros first. Thanks

Wound up just using nfs and mounted the cacti rra folder, seems to work decent for viewing on weathermap.
