how to ping more than one host (in separate graphs)?

Post by mangoo »

I would like to monitor more than one host, in separate graphs.

However, when I add a graph for monitoring one host (New Graphs -> Select a graph type to create -> Unix - Ping latency -> Create -> type hostname etc.), I can't add a second host after that: "Unix - Ping latency" is not on the graphs' list anymore!

So I can't do "New Graphs -> Select a graph type to create -> Unix - Ping latency", because "Unix - Ping latency" isn't there.

Does it mean I can only ping one host?

I use Cacti 0.8.6c.

I've been searching through forum, but didn't find an answer to that.

OK, I got it now:

1) create first ping graph,
2) then copy and change "data sources" of this first graph
3) copy and change "graph management" of this first graph

and you have two hosts scanned!
