Graph/Host separation on Tree

Post by DanFox »

I would like to be able to separate "Interface - Errors/Discards" graphs for a single host and place them on a different portion of the Graph Tree. Even though the graphs were added to the same host.

Example:
My Company

Location 1
Switch 1 (normally this is where all the graphs show up.)

Location 2
Switch 1
Switch 2

Errors
Location 1
Switch 1 (I'd like to separate errors to here.)

Is this possible?

Hey,

That should be possible now but it is more typing for you. On the console, set up your graph tree with your locations. Then create another tree called errors. Put the locations there too. Then all you do is add the graphs to the parts of the tree that you want. A single graph can appear on many trees to create custom views.

Thanks, I actually stumbled upon another setting that essentially does the same; While viewing the graphs, click on the Settings icon on the top right.

Click on "Expand Hosts" and it places the each "interface" into a different subcategory...

Thanks for your help...
