Page format error cacti 0.8.8f

Page format error cacti 0.8.8f

I'm using cacti 0.8.8a windows version and need to upgrade to 0.8.8f one.

tried to install both 0.8.8f and 0.8.8c versions on a test server but the output format is not good . when i tried 0.8.8b , the format is good .. any help

Any update please ?
Note : i'm using the cacti installation package cacti-0.8.8c.exe

As stated in the installer thread and when you launch the installer itself, it should NOT be used for an upgrade!

Follow http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:1_inst ... _upgrading for the correct method of upgrading the system. Also go with 0.8.8f, assuming your install is not currently broken from reinstalling....

i already followed such upgrade guide before . the problem is even after uninstalling cacti-0.8.8b and installing cacti-0.8.8c , the pages are show like above.

i tried something and it worked well , i followed the guide and replacedthe cacti.sql file from the cacti-0.8.8b to the new cacti folder as well , the webpages are now shown well

Is that true ?

huh? you dont and shouldnt completely remove cacti to upgrade. Just follow the guide linked. For these minor revisions, it should only take 5 minutes.
