Hello,
I want to monitor Mikrotik health with a Cacti server.
I never create a template and I don't know how to start, I will appreciate any help.
This is the OIDs from Mikrotik:
Code: Select all
[admin@MikroTik] > /system health print oid
active-fan: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.9.0
voltage: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.8.0
temperature: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.10.0
processor-temperature: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.11.0
current: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.13.0
power-consumption: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.12.0
psu1-state: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.15.0
psu2-state: .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.16.0
My device just have this values:
Code: Select all
[admin@MikroTik] > /system health print
voltage: 24.7V
temperature: 36C
Code: Select all
$ snmpget -c public -v 2c 192.168.1.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.8.0
iso.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.8.0 = INTEGER: 247
Code: Select all
$ snmpget -c public -v 2c 192.168.1.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.10.0
iso.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.10.0 = INTEGER: 360
Is there any similar template that I could use for it? I will appreciate your help.
Thanks and best regards.

Hello
Yes, you must copy the files inside the folder /resource to the folder /resource of the cacti installation
also copy the inside of the folder /scripts, to the folder /scripts of your cacti installation.
The import "cacti_host_template_mikrotik.xml" that is in the /template folder in the archive, through the "import template" in the interface of cacti.
Last, when creating a device, choose "mikrotik" from the host template.
