Empty graphs with Alcatel SANT-F Sonet Line

Hi, good morning:
Im new user in this forum. I have been trying to grap a interface in Alcatel SANT-F Sonet Line . This is a card of a Alcatel 7300 dslam. I have not problem to add to Cacti, but when i select the interface, i cant get the grap, this is empty.
I can see the rows when i add the host. Im applying the Snmp Interface Statistics XML from Cacti.
This are ATM Dsl nodes. I added without problems the Ehternet nodes to Cacti, those have eth intefaces, and all is working ok.
I want only graph the SANT-F SONET LINE
I will very gratefully if somebody could help me with this problem.

hmm, those images arent loading for me at work.

Does that device have thousands of interfaces? Might need to increase/decrease the number of MAx OIDs per query and/or increase the snmp timeout.

Does the Snmp Interface Statistics Verbose Query show any output?

Yes, this device have 7997 interfaces, where the mayority are adsl service customers port. All this ports go out by the two Alcatel SANT-F Sonet Line port to the ATM backbone This are the two port i want to graph.

I have not problem doing the snmp query, the problem apears when graph want to take values.

Could be the graph template? or may be in SDH interfaces? I have the same problem in data sources like this too:

I have anothers nodes or devices like Alcatel 7302 dslam, Huawei MA5600, and Gpon ZTE C300 and all of this are working excellent and their graphs looks great. Only in this kind of interfaces appear the inconvenient.

Increase the logging level and examine what is going on when querying that host. Does it have any DoS protection which might be triggered from the massive snmp traffic from Cacti? Since the snmp interface table is filled out, thats typically a sign the queries should work...

Hi again, in continue the debugging. I suspect about the interface index value. Look at this.
I changed the Maximum OID's Per Get Request to 1 but this continue in the same situation.
I can see the index number is 65536 and 69632 but this index with the OID to take in and out traffic dont return nothing..

ah-ha. Looks like an issue with the device then. Possibly forget to enable those Sonet Lines to report via snmp? or a bug which needs to be reported to the vendor?

We just contact to the vendor to ask about which OID work to take the data in/out . Becuase we think the index or the OID to take this data is different.
Now we are waitting for a reply.

Hi again, Alcatel vendor told me about taking values of traffic in/out in this interface.
The index which take the trafiic is 77824
So, that index 77824 is the atm interface where we cat take the values traffic.
The vendor gave me this option ..

I dont know why cacti cant take the traffic values . Im using Snmp version 1 with 1 oid per request.

Does index 77824 show up in the snmp interface data query? the snmpwalk should suggest that it should... if cacti is able to enumerate all of them within its snmp timeout window. you might need to increase it significantly higher. As a test, how long does it take for an snmpwalk to enumerate all interfaces on that device?

Also, i try to dig by wireshark to analyze te request and response from the server where is installed cacti and i see this.

That's very the likely problem why cacti is unable to find/view it. you tried increasing the snmp timeout to an insanely high value?
