Need Help! Anyone there?

Post by crenguta »

Help everybody!!!!!!!!!!!

My graphs don't work, ican't see them.
Short story:
I am using a script for colecting data. This script has an input argument (acl=access-list) and two
output arguments : ex(exceeded rate) and cf(conform rate).
If i click Cron PrintOut from Console in the Cacti menu and then "show output" i can see the values so i suppose the script works fine with cacti .
I tried every possible way to make those graphs , but noting works!!!
I CAN'T SEE THEM...I see the grid only ..
Pliiiiiiiiiiiiiiz help

when you added them as a data source, did you select the correct data input from the drop down?? what type of script is it, and what did you select for the data source type??

also, are the locations correct? did it show at the top, "DATA SOURCE CANNOT BE FOUND /path/to/rrd.rrd"??

I checked everything belive me. i have no problem with the script, it works just fine.
the problem that i have is that i can't see the graphs
plese see the other 2 items that i posted on this site . posted by "crenguta".
and no one seem to know what the problem is.
if i can't solve the problem than i can' t use cacti...and that is too bad since i like it very much.

Like I stated in your previous post, try executing the following command again:

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/rrdtool update /services/cacti//rra/rate-limit2001.rrd --template cf:ex N:293817485:4581680
Last time you ran it you got an error, but that error was because the command was run too many times in a short period of time.

Also, check your data source. Do you have all of the 'Associated RRA's' selected? What is your minumum/maximum value?

Just trying to throw some things up in the air.
