[solved] Graphs are not built in CACTI

Post by strelok00 »

Hello !

I have just installed cacti ver.0.8.8b at FreeBSD 9.2

I added one device(switch) for test and trying to setup Graphs for this device.

But no graphs are built in cacti.

I suggest that problem in time/timezone.

First rrd files were built but no any updates.

In logs (/var/log/cacti/log) I see following messages

Code: Select all

did you update php.ini with the correct time zone, cycle web service, and confirmed it matches the system?
do you have two pollers running per chance? whats in the cron?

Hello BSOD2600 !

Thank you for response very much.

I managed with own issue, eventually.

I spent all day to setup CACTI and my brain was broken totally )))

The problem was in incorrect timezone in PHP, that's why I had difference between system time (FreeBSD) and PHP.
I updated timezonedb for PHP after this problem has gone.
