No Graphs Found in graph preview mode
Hi all,
I have installed cacti on a Windows 2012 R2 with IIS/Web Platform Installer/PHP and MySQL 5.6.
Everything was good and worked as a new installation should pretend. But I have started to customize... and all the graphs are now gone.
What I did:
I am trying to monitor my routers. One of my routers is a Microsoft ISA server. I performed http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:2_basi ... irst_graph:
1 - Create a Device
2 - Create the graph
To be able to do that, I had to configure snmp-data queries and it seems to work, here the cacti logs:

I also "cleaned" the graphs "not needed from my perspective..." (List of all graphs in cacti):

the rrd files are well created in cacti/rrd:

I have tried to repair the graphs with the Data template:
Interface - Errors/Discards 38 Get SNMP Data (Indexed) Active
Interface - Non-Unicast Packets 40 Get SNMP Data (Indexed) Active
Interface - Traffic 41 Get SNMP Data (Indexed) Active
here the commands:

I still not have graphs.
As I did something wrong and my feeling seems bad on the resolution, I prefer to post this help message.
So, how can I repair my cacti installation?
Best regards,
Nikky

Tried clearing the filters at the top of the page?SwitchNikky wrote:But I have started to customize... and all the graphs are now gone.
If you go to [Graph Trees] and start to add, are any items listed?

I have tried a lot of filter options... Without result. Even from a "brand new" session, with Any host, any template, graphs default, Columns default. No graphs found
This is my default graph tree:

Re: No Graphs Found in graph preview mode
In Console -> Graph Management, are there any graphs?
The only correct way of creating graphs is via Devices -> select device -> Create Graphs for this Host (top right corner) -> select the entries you want -> click create.
The poller running every 5 min?
Any errors in the cacti log file?

Re: No Graphs Found in graph preview mode
ah-ha. Do you have anything created under the Default Graph tree? What about Network?
When you're in Graph Management and click on a graph (lets say traffic), does it render properly? If so, then it's just a problem with the Tree layout and not the data collection/graphing.
The tree code was overhauled in 0.8.8c and there are still a few things to work out

Yes I did (or I have expected to do...):BSOD2600 wrote:ah-ha. Do you have anything created under the Default Graph tree? What about Network?
If you mean the screen below; I cannot see a graph. So it seems to be a graphing problem instead a "Tree Layout" problem?BSOD2600 wrote:When you're in Graph Management and click on a graph (lets say traffic), does it render properly?
Re: No Graphs Found in graph preview mode
Probably. turn on graph debug. Paste the output.SwitchNikky wrote:If you mean the screen below; I cannot see a graph. So it seems to be a graphing problem instead a "Tree Layout" problem?
Do any of the graphs correctly render?

Re: No Graphs Found in graph preview mode
Finally solved and I thank you to put me on the way. It was a problem with the "user permission" of the admin account. I do not know how this "allow Graph by devices" appears but it overwrites all other "default" rights. It was the first time I set something in the user permission setting (or my memory fails). Yeah... In my mind, we do not manage permissions for admins. All or nothing is my understanding of rights management for admin
I have just removed the Graph Permissions (by device):

Re: No Graphs Found in graph preview mode
Glad you were able to figure it out.
In the next version of Cacti, the permission system was completely re-written and its now FAR more intuitive for whats allowed/denied.
