Hi.
I'm learning to create data queries for my equipment. Everything if fine so far, except one thing: my equipment encodes descriptions in oid, and doesn't display them in separate table field. Like .oid."data" this way will be .oid.100.97.116.97, and I, of course, need to display them as strings. Can someone opoint me in right direction ? For some example or documentation part. I can parse them via oid_index_parse and this way I'll get the data query working for values, but this leads me without "data" in this case.
Thanks.

Though that I found it myself, but nope. Question still stands.

Re: ASCII-encoded descriptions in oid
Yeah - that's what I though I found exactly. But, you see - this article example does contain STRING value, the same as the oid ASCI-encoded part (F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB::ltmVirtualServStatName."LXWEB" = STRING: LXWEB) - but in my case it doesn't.
Re: ASCII-encoded descriptions in oid
Mind posting a snmpwalk of both the raw OIDs (-On option) and how snmp interprets the 'friendly' output?
