I have a significant investment in BTI Systems Metro Ethernet switches.
Specifically I use:
BTI 7000 shelves with packetVX cards.

As far as I have been able to determine cacti (and similar applications) are unable to graph utilization by port (or vlan) for these devices.
I believe this is due to a non-standard SNMP OID tree.
I am currently in the market for a developer (short term contract) to develop support for for these devices.
There is no official budget for this project but all reasonable proposals will be considered.
Please contact me either by replying to this thread or emailing me (PMs seem to be disabled for me.)
my email is "ray at Hudson fiber dot com"
If solicitation of development contracts is a no-no on this forum I apologize.
If there are any people who have experience with these devices and there is a way to get counters off them for use as a datasource for graphing that is something a low level sys admin can handle I would love to hear about it.
TIA
