svn plugins Call to undefined function general_header

what's changing about the svn plugins that they now contain

general_header();

instead of for instance

include_once("./plugins/mactrack/general_header.php");

When attempting to use one of the changed plugins I get

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function general_header()

Someone clue me in on what I need to use the plugins as they are?

SVN versions of the plugins should only be used with the current SVN of Cacti 0.8.8 branch (which is undergoing some huge changes right now). We are cleaning up a ton of code base, and moving to a more theme-able interface.
