cacti does not draw graphics

upgraded ubuntu to 12.04 14.04 and graphics ceased to appear. in cacti there are no errors, but even rrd files are not created, what could be the reason?

found that if I change to cmd.php then everything starts to work, and if you change on the spine then stops. what could be the problem?

Default Cacti use cmd.php.

If you use spine, you have to install Cacti Spine.
Check: Console tab --> Setting --> Cacti Settings (Paths)--> You can see: Spine Poller File Path
