SQL 1064 Errors

I recently had some hardware die and had to rebuild my cacti install on some new hardware. I am getting the below error in the logs.

I have visited http://bugs.cacti.net/view.php?id=2268 an tried applying the patch provided. When I do I my server stops graphing and I get this over and over.

09/23/2008 10:05:01 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 58 seconds exceeded. Exiting.

I see it mentioned on the bugs site that the patch should apply against spine089 as well as 088. Any suggestions?
