Customizing POller.php

Hello

Is that Possible to Customize the Poller.php

Like as follow

I have configured my Cacti with Certain Data with Input Method via SNMP and
Certain Data with Input Method via Script/Command.

The Data configured with Script ( Need to Polled every 15 Minutes )
While that of SNMP should be Polled every 5 Minutes,

Is that Possible using Cacti or any sort of customization of the Poller.php.

You don't need to customize the poller.php file, you just need to create custom RRAs that use a 15 minute average instead of a 5 minute average. Then only apply that RRA to the data template you created.

Let me try that option, and post my result

However, I need one more clarification

Poller.php is called by Scheduler or Cron every 5 Minutes

If I am able to Customize the RRA every 15 Minutes, and apply that to my Data template.
That means, the Script or Data Input Method associated with the data template is also triggered every 15 Minutes
( or )
it is Script is triggered every 5 Minutes along with Poller.php but the update to the RRD is made every 15th Minute.

Please clarify my doubt.

If you apply a custom 15 minute average RRA to a data template, you will not need to change your poller scheduling. It will stay at 5 minutes. Cacti will know that it only needs to poll that data source every 3 pollings.
