Netgear GS748Tv3
I have a GS748Tv3 that point blank refuses to graph any data when 64Bit counters are used.
Tried some of the various suggestions on here such as increasing the SNMP timeouts, but it doesn't seem to work.
SNMP is set to v2 and if I use 32Bit counters the interfaces do get graphed, but as this is a Gigabit switch counter wrap would be a problem with 32bit counters.
is there a trick to getting this particular model of switch to play nice with cacti?
We also have a GSM7248V2 - ProSafe 48G that is graphing perfectly fine, with 64bit counters from the same cacti host so it seems to be something specific to this switch.

Does an snmpwalk reveal it does have the 64bit counters available?

Same thing has happened to me.... same switch...
Dragon have done the SNMP walk on the switch? Does it have 64 bit counters? Im not sure how to do that. Be good to get this going! Thanks for your help!

Re: Netgear GS748Tv3
I will get the SNMP walk and post it later, (It's not my switch, I was actually trying to help someone else)
I did however have a GS724T v3 that I used to graph with cacti using 64bit counters, The one thing I did notice between the 2 switches that I'm pretty sure my GS724 all the interfaces were 1/1 - 1/24 + Cpu where as this GS748 seems to have 1/1 - 2/10 - 3/20
At first I thought maybe someone had enabled stacking, but I don't think this model actually supports that.

Looking at the attached. I cant seem to see i can see 64 bit counters. Hoping we can come up with a solution. Cheers guys.
Re: Netgear GS748Tv3
Agreed, I don't see the 64bit counters either.

IF-MIB::ifHCOutOctets = 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10
1) Ask the vendor to implement them in a future software release.
2) Change the cacti polling interval from 5 to 1 min. WARNING, this is a very involved process and not as simple as just changing the setting. Read more in the documentation site and forum.

Re: Netgear GS748Tv3
Just to make sure I wasn't going mad I Dug out the GS724Tv3, reset it to factory defaults (As it was previously used in Colo) and connected to my network at home.
Results of the SNMP walk are attached, I used SNMP v2c for the version when I performed the SNMPWALK command.
Seems to be support for 64Bit counters in the G724Tv3 which makes it even more bizarre that the GS748v3 seems to be lacking them as I was under the impression they were just 24 and 48 port versions of the same switch
