THOLD Tab Freezes Server Upgrade

I just upgrade thold from 0.4.1 to 0.5.0. Now, when I try to click on the Thold tab, the browser hangs. top shows mysql spiking in cpu and memory. The only way to stop it is to restart httpd.
I am able to access Thresholds and Threshold Templates in the Console without any problems.

I tried re-installing it through Plugin Management, but that didn't resolve the problem.

I was able to narrow the issue to the thold_upgrade_database function in includes/database.php, but haven't gotten much farther.

The problem was that there was too large of a difference between thold 0.4.1 and 0.5.0. Upgrading to thold 0.4.9 first, successfully updated the database. From there, I was able to upgrade again to 0.5.0 without issue:

Upgrade Thold 0.4.1 -> 0.4.9
Upgrade Settings 0.5 -> 0.7.1
(Click on thold tab to upgrade database)

Upgrade Thold 0.4.9 -> 0.5.0
(Click on thold tab again to upgrade database)
