Hi,
I took me just over half a day to get this baby running (including compiling my own cactid). That's great! I use it at home to monitor the bandwidth usage (etc.) of my WRT54g wireless router, and it works like a charm!
But, for one thing I haven't found a solution yet. The execution of "php.exe poller.php" from the task scheduler gives me two DOS boxes every 5 minutes. This is kind of annoying, because it runs on a PC I regularly use (it's my HTPC, actually... )
Does anyone have a working solution for scheduling this process in the background every five minutes, or at least, make it run minimized?
Thanks,
Michel

It's an easy fix. Create a user called something like "cacti", give it a password that never expires. Call it "Cacti Poller Process ID". Then change your started task to use that Id instead of yours. Problem solved.
