Hi,
I've already posted the following message in the weathermap section, but maybe not linked to weathermap:
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=53065
I'm new to Cacti and Network Weather Map. We have an old quitly unmaintained installation of Cacti 0.8.7i (from docs/CHANGELOG) or 0.8.8h (from /about.php), with Weathermap 0.97a (from plugins/weathermap/README).
Yesterday, it starts not graphing new data, after 2 devices were added.
- The Cacti logs were full of this kind of warning:
07/09/2014 10:01:02 AM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] WARNING: [Map 59] XXXX: ReadData: LINK nodeXXXXXX-nodeXXXXXX, target: /usr/local/web/htdocs/cacti/rra/<XXXXXXXX>.rrd on config line 255 of /usr/local/web/htdocs/cacti/plugins/weathermap/configs/XXXX had no valid data, according to WeatherMapDataSource_rrd
- Files rra/*.rrd were not updated anymore, except the 2 ones corresponding to the 2 new devices.
- We've remove the 2 new devices => it did not help.
- Looking at debugging docs for Cacti, I've enabled more logs and found:
07/09/2014 10:03:09 AM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] DEBUG: [wmrrd_read_from_real_rrdtool@WeatherMapDataSource_rrd.php:400] [Map 70] XXXX: --1404893100: -nan -nan
- Then, I saw "Check Bulkwalk Behaviour (SNMP Data Queries only)" in the debugging doc. We've switched 1 device to SNMP v1 => we got updated graphs. After switching back this device to SNMP v2, the graphs were still being updated.
- We have 380 devices, so I've run an SQL UPDATE query on the database to switch all devices with SNMP v2 to SNMP v1. Then, I've run the poller => No new rrd files updated, except the one for the device we've manually changed.
- Then, I've run a new SQL UPDATE query to switch back all devices to SNMP v2 and run the poller => still no new graphs.
So, when the settings of a device are updated from the web interface, Cacti probably does more than changing the single modified value.
Any idea ?
Thanks for your help.

[fixed] Re: graphs not updated after 2 new devices added
It was simple as clicking on "rebuild poller cache". Sorry for the disruption.
