Hi,
I'm running Debian Woody. Apache/1.3.33 (Debian GNU/Linux) PHP/4.3.10-2 and cacti-0.8.6c and mysql Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.23, for pc-linux-gnu (i386)
I was getting the "Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() error" when i surfed to my /cacti directory.
I quickly fixed it by uncommenting extension=mysql.so in my php.ini file.
So that solved that problem, i configged my data sources, created graphs & placed them on a tree. I was surprised to find that the graph images were broken.
The problem is that the .rrd files aren't being created by poller.php. If i try to run poller.php manually i get the same mysql_connect error:
>php4 /home/www/cacti/poller.php
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /home/www/cacti/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 339
The same error which i thought i solved earlier.
If i make a php script with phpinfo() it states that mysql is supported:
supported databases MySQL
Anyone know what else could be wrong?
/update/ -> added sql version
Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()
