problems with graphics on localhost

Post by luisalfredo88 »

Hello good day
I hope you can help me I am really new in this issue of monitoring.

The problem is not that the install cacti and all accessories. And let a period of more than 24 hours localhost graphs do not appear complete.
Appears only part of the graph but at the same time every day.

Any idea what is happening or what could be the solution.

Good morning this is part of the cacti logs from there onwards all are marked in red. Do not know if there will be any problem if I already have other links discharged. Greetings and thanks.

The important part of that isn't all the red lines, its your system stats. It is telling us that your poller is taking 298 seconds to finish, which means that Cacti stopped it before it actually finished running (since the poller is starting up in 2 seconds again). You have 198 hosts but are only using 1 cmd.php process. Luckily you don't have many graphs at all. I would suggest going to
Settings >> Poller tab >> "Maximum Concurrent Poller Processes"
and change that higher. Start at ~4, and then watch the SYSTEM STATS line in the log for a bit and see if you can get that 298 number down. Tweak it from there. If you really want to speed it up, install spine and swap from cmd.php to it in the settings.
