weathermap blank page

Hello,
I am new in Cacti and I am trying to start work with plugin weathermap. I have installed clean Ubuntu instalation 12.10, clean installation of Cacti 0.8.8a, Apache version 2.2.22. After I downloaded latest weathermap version 0.97c, PHP script check.php gives me OK results.
When I click on weather link, there is a blank page in browser.
Please, could you advice what is wrong?

I have exactly the same problem...

Permissions OK,
SQL tables OK, (weathermap_auth, weathermap_data, weathermap_groups, weathermap_maps and weathermap_settings)
Cacti working perfectly..

I can open the editor using:

"http://mysite/cacti/plugins/weathermap/editor.php".

I see the Weathermap Tab on the top of the screen but when I click there it shows me a blank page on that URL:

"http://mysite/cacti/plugins/weathermap/ ... plugin.php"

Is there any error in the apache error log? This sounds like the kind of thing php would log an error for.

after each attemp to "click" on wheatermap link I can see in apache error log next

Was cacti from APT or from source files? Ubuntu and Debian do some odd things with their packages.

from APT (apt-get install cacti cacti-spine).
I can try to install from source code but is there a possibility to save/export/import my current configuration and also save history(sorry I am not very experienced linux user)?

I've done that:

cd /usr/local/share/cacti/ && ln -s /usr/share/cacti/site/include/

Now it works!

I have next problem, when I try to create new map via editor.php nothing happend. I typed new name, click on Create button (also tried Create map as a copy) and nothing.... No error message and no new map. What is wrong?

the filename must end in .conf - this is not very clear, sorry.

1) create a new post - don't just pick a 2 year old one at random

2) you will need to provide more information:
[*] which version of Cacti?
[*] which version of weathermap?
[*] what operating system?
[*] what exactly are you trying, and what actually happens? Do you get an error message? (What is it?) Is there an error in the Apache or Cacti logs? (what is it?)
