Hi guys,
Currently building a WM to monitor the many devices in our DC, and I'm adding Latency and Loss to it. How would one go about adding the fping feature to WM? It's installed server side and works, but getting WM to use it is a pain! In the weathermap debugger, it’s mentioning an error in WeatherMapDataSource_fping.php. Now, according to google it should be in /lib/datasources or somewhere similar. I was hoping I could check the path to the fping program in that script but as we don’t have the file I cannot check it. The WM warning thing is very specific too, it says what line it’s on, but I’m unsure how it would know what line the error is on without having the file on the server.
Any ideas, it's stopping me from putting this map on our NOC screens.
Cheers,
Ash

Re: fping for Cacti plugin
You will probably get more help if you ACTUALLY SHARE THE ERROR MESSAGE
You should find the fping plugin in plugins/weathermap/lib/datasources (that is, not /lib/datasources, but inside the weathermap directory)

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
