Newbie with Cacti

Post by MyLifeAsBK »

Hello,

I installed a fresh copy of 0.8.8a and from my research, it appears that the Plugin Architecture comes built in.

I am looking to try to install plug-ins, but from everything I read, I have to add the plug-ins to the array in the include/config.php file, and I don't see an area for that.

I also found that I could add it directly from the plug-in management page, however I can't seem to do that either.

Thanks in advance,
Bobby

You just have to place the folder of your plugin in the /pathtocacti/site/plugins/ directory.
Then you can install and activate it using the webinterface.
(also make sure to read the readme files for your plugin, since you have to do some extra stuff for some plugins)
