I had a previously running cacti server. Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS. I installed cacti via apt-get. Built graphs, trees, it has ran great for several months.
I was trying to add PIA..
I downloaded the .08.7a PA V3
Copied all the files to my /usr/site/cacti/files structure.
Modified the /usr/share/cacti/site/include/global.php
applied the pa.sql patch
Restarted the mysql engine
Then, when I went to the http://myserver/cacti directory and logged in, it walked me through a setup.
None of my graphs have images and I still only have the [Console] and [graphs] tabs at the top. No where do I see anywhere to add/ modify plugins.
Any Ideals?

Re: Plugin Arcitecture killed my running server
As a follow up, I restored the /usr/share/cacti structure to the condition before the patches were applied.
Then when I went to http://myserver/cacti it went through an upgrade script and the graphs are all back and have data.
They all have data holes during the period of time I was trying to run with the PIA in place.

Re: Plugin Arcitecture killed my running server
Thus the question - Is PIA compatible with Ubuntu 1204 / Debian?
If so, how do I get plugins to work?
