I'm using a monitoring script from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=76502.0
I'm looking for a way to pass the TCP Ping Port to the script in order to monitor machines which are not on port 4028 which is currently hard coded in the script.
There is a cash/crypto bounty on solving this issue as it is losing me money.

Re: Dynamic port for script/template
Sure, one can edit the script/templates to pass in a specific port number.
Sounds like you need to hire a developer

I hired a developer. I just couldn't pay myself
This was actually the solution. I shifted all of the script arguments up one iteration and made arg 1 the snmp_port and then passed snmp_port to the script. Since I don't actually use SNMP it works out pretty well.phalek wrote:would the snmp port do as well ?
