I have a bunch of Cisco Catalyst 4500 L3 switches I am trying to discover with mactrack. This is a new install of cacti and mactrack on ubuntu. Any help would be appreciated!!
Ubuntu V:13.04
mactrack: 2.9.1
System Description Match: Catalyst 4500 L3
SNMP OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9

Re: Possible snmp issue: Device type not found
I checked out your link and followed the instructions to add a new device. When I use the ObjectID that is in the SNMP info on the device page with snmpget,
root@local# snmpget -v 2c -c community XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.874
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.1.874 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Re: Possible snmp issue: Device type not found
can you post a screenshot of the device type you setup ?
