does thold work in 8.8a?

Good morning, I've got cacti 8.8a (upgraded from .8.7i) on ubuntu 12.04 and I'm getting a whole bunch of errors when I try thold

Is thold incompatible with 8.8 or am I just doing something daft?

yes, it does work except sending email when the threshold breach. that's the only issue I have so far.

The result is that when clicking on thold tab I get a blank screen.

Any thoughts on why this is ???.

Yep, this is exactly what I'm getting. Made a new post regarding this before I stumbled upon this.

The 'blank page' issue seems to be present with any plugging I install. I've tried the following.

1. Installing 0.8.8a directly (without an upgrade from 0.8.7) - Ubuntu 12.04
2. Installing 0.8.8b directly on Ubuntu 12.04
3. Installing 0.8.8a directly on Ubuntu 12.10
4. Extracting the plugin files to either '/usr/local/share/cacti/plugins/' or '/usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/'

It's as if I'm missing something but not quite sure what. The /var/log/apache2/error.log file always comes up with a PHP Fatal Error, but a different function for each plugin/link.
