Eth0 values doubled

Post by dragon2611 »

I have 2 Proxmox hosts running the same version of proxmox, on identical hardware, I've installed SNMPD on both of them using apt-get (Proxmox is debian based) but for one of the servers eth0 traffic appears to being doubled for some reason and I can't seem to get to the bottom of it.

Using SMNP v2 on both hosts.

Tried deleting and re-creating the device but it's still doing it.

Oddly as far as I can tell the other server isn't showing this issue, I'd like to graph on the servers themselves as then cacti picks up the Tap interfaces for the KVM guests.

It seems to be only for the eth0 interface as well as far as I can tell.

Edit: Seems since last reboot it's gotten worse, cacti is showing eth0 having peaked at 412.7Mbit/s of traffic where the switch only saw a Max of 70.85Mbit/s over the same period :o
