Fatal error: Call to undefined function define_syslog_variab

I am a new user to Cacti.
I was installing manage plugin on 8.8 cacti and end-up with this error. can some please help me , how to roll back or resolve this error. Critical - Cacti is down not working.

issue has been fixed by comment out the define_syslog_variable() line. manage plugin not yet tested on 8.8.
