Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
Why would you expect a Unix template to work on Windows? It won't.
Search the script forum and/or repository for alternatives. advanced ping is a good one.

Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
Thank you very much
I think, it works, but the graph shows Pkt Loss and Avg Loss: 100%
Is it right? Look at the attachment. Thanks again

It would appear that way.
Sure that device responds to the type of pings (icmp, tcp, or udp) that cacti is using?

Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
OK. I am using both tcp and udp. Both graghs shows the same ressult. I can live with it
Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
try changing the template to icmp.

Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
I tried with Host Template: Cisco Router
Ping methede: ICMP
Ping Results: ICMP ping Timed out
Do you have any idea?

Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
does your device respond to icmp pings? sounds like not.

Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
Hello
Yes, I think the Cisco Switch 2960 did not respons on ICMP ping. I also enabled this command on the Switch "access-list 101 permit icmp any any echo-reply".
It showed the same problem.
Any idea?

Re: Unix - Ping Latency: graph does not show?
I'm not a IOS expert... once you can manually ping that cisco device FROM your cacti server at the commandline, then this graph will start to work.
