Cacti Wrong graphs for sub-interfaces

Post by Engouf »

Hi All,

I using Cacti version 0.8.8a, currently i'm facing problem with graphing any inbound/outbound traffic for sub-interfaces [ different types ] as cacti plotting with wrong values as below:
cacti.jpg
cacti.jpg (95.96 KiB) Viewed 630 times
cacti1.jpg
cacti1.jpg (89.56 KiB) Viewed 630 times
I used both ifInOctet/ifOutOctet & ifHCInOctet/ifHCOutOctet for both but the graph values is wrong other than the values via opening CLI sessions on these interfaces and also i tried to push traffic on these sub-interfaces to check if cacti will graphs accurate values or not, but the issue still exists :(

So, Should i consider this issue BUG and cacti to be upgraded to next version or what will be the proper solution for that issue as impact alot of graphs.

phalek,

Here below sample of return values from SNMP walk :

The graphed values is totally different from the reading via CLI.

Thanks,
