Bandwidth Hogs

Post by FeeArrow »

All,
I have Cacti monitoring the fiber on a Cisco 3750X and noticed a large bandwidth spike multiple times during the day. Is there any way I can use Cacti to isolate what port the spike (or bandwidth hog) is located on without monitoring all the ports on the 3750? Thanks!

Maybe you should use this plugin:thold. If your bandwidth over the threshold, the thold will alert you with an e-mail. Or you can just do qos in the switch, limiting the bandwidth of all ports.I am dong,if you have any further question, you can conntact me :dong@3anetwork.com
