Hello everyone,
to roll out some new data queries on my cacti installation without losing old data and without let autom8 recreate all graphs, I'd like to know where in the database the connection between an already existing graph and the query via which it was created is stored.
What I already tried is to change the entry of "snmp_query_id" in the tables "data_local" and "graph_local" on one exemplary graph/data-source combination to the id of my new query, but nothing happened and the line with the corresponding snmp index on the "New Graphs"-Page of the new query stayed "black" and did not get "grey". Also, when I did a new snmp_walk via the green ring, the entries I changed in the database went back to the former ones.
There has to be another entry in which the correlation between graph/datasource and data query is stored, but i couldn't find other entries.
I hope anyone could help me on my problem.
I use Cacti 088b on a Debian 3.2.51-1 x86_64 GNU/Linux.

Re: change corresponding snmp query for existing graph/datas
Did nobody ever have a similar problem? The Work-Around for me would be to recreate 150 000 + Graphs and nearly double the load on my Cacti-Machines. It would be nicer to just "move" the Graphs/DataSources to the new Query...
