Hi All,
I have the following issue and have been searching for hours now, but can't find a solution. The network weathermap plugin has installed fine, I got the "Weathermap" tab on the top and have the menu link on the left hand side. However whichever I click, I only get a blank screen, no errors, no text, no images...nada...
I have a newly installed VM - Ubuntu 12.04, running Apache2. Installed Cacti 0.8.8a with Plugin Architecture 3.1. As a note I have the same issue with Superlinks as well.
Thanks for the help upfront.

Re: blank screen
As an update, it seems that the issue lies with the include paths contained in weathermap php files. I get the following (and similar) error logs:
[Sun Dec 01 10:19:15 2013] [error] [client 90.209.210.148] PHP Warning: include_once(): Failed opening './include/auth.php' for inclusion (include_path='.') in /usr/local/share/cacti/plugins/weathermap/weathermap-cacti-plugin.php on line 6,
I also installed weathermap as a standalone, but again, I just get a "URL not found on this server" error. I tried changing some of the include paths, no luck so far, as I am not sure what is expected.
Anyone got any idea after this?

Re: blank screen
is this with cacti installed from an ubuntu package? The debian/ubuntu guys love to move things around from their normal places...
I don't understand what you mean about 'as a standalone' - weathermap without cacti doesn't have a web interface.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Hi thanks for the reply, yeah I installed cacti with apt-get install. After your comment I will probably try a different method. By standalone I mean, that weathermap can be placed direct in the /var/www/ folder in which case I should be able to get the default weathermap.png and use the webeditor, but as I mentioned earlier URL error saying "index.php cannot be found on this server"
stange.....

Hmm, that IS strange. Check the apache2/error_log and see if it's looking somewhere other than where you think?talia11 wrote:Hi thanks for the reply, yeah I installed cacti with apt-get install. Re: blank screen
thanks for replies, this has now been sorted. Turned out this affected all my plugins and the structure had to be changed and plugins installed locally.
