How large are the cacti rrds

Hi Guys

How long can I store data in Cacti ? Is the Size of the red files fixed , or can they grow dynamically ?

As long as you configure it to. By default the files contain two years of data.

After creation, the size is fixed, but the size depends on how you configure the data to be consolidated and for how long and how much data you put in one file.

This is discussed and a script is provided in the documnetation section. Using this script, you may mass-extend exting rrd files
