Hmm, for some reason the 95th percentile seems to be reporting correctly, but the total bandwidth graphs seem to be off by a factor of 10, any way to fix that?

Um....

Typically this is an issue if you are selecting a range where RRDTool has to extrapolate the values, IE, crossing a consolidation boundary.

Thanks lads,

as the 95 percentile calculation (in+out) goes wrong with 64-bit counters, this really helped. Now I have usable 95-percentile values and graphs again.

What I did was edit the following graph template:

"Interface - Traffic (bits/sec, 95th Percentile In and Out)"

I simply added 3 lines at the bottom of the graph that look like this:

Item # 14 COMMENT: Total Out: |sum:auto:current:2:auto| COMMENT AVERAGE

Item # 15 COMMENT: Total In: |sum:auto:current:2:auto| COMMENT AVERAGE

Item # 16 COMMENT: Total In+Out: |sum:auto:total:2:auto| COMMENT AVERAGE

These 3 lines will give you the in total, out total and combined in/out totals.

Hope that helps.

And big thanks to the creator of this template!

I open XML file in text editor and replace pattern "018" in hash by "016". :) It works.

While that would work, it is a hack. But, for this template, it would be ok to go as far back as 0.8.7.

I have imported this template into 0.8.7e3 and now none of the rrd's are updating nor being created.

I don't see any error messages in the logs, debugging is on.

Does anyone ran into this ?

Item # 11 COMMENT: |95:bits:6:current:2| Mb<HR> COMMENT AVERAGE Move Down Move Up Delete
Item # 12 HRULE: |95:bits:0:current:2| HRULE AVERAGE FFC73B Move Down Move Up Delete
