Some graphs empty while other ok for the same host.

Post by polityk »

Cacti 0.8.8b
Spine 0.8.8b

I am trying to debug why for one host there are graphs which are ok and some of them stopped graphing.
All of them are Interface statistics: errors/discards, non-unicast traffic, interface traffic.
While errors and non-unicast are ok traffic graphs are not graphing.
This happens only for one host...

Running spine for this host and looking into output i can see:
SPINE: Poller[0] Host[544] TH[2] NOTE: There are '14' Polling Items for this Host

(...)

Now the main questions:
All nonunicast and errors are polled correctly, but what about traffic?
Where to look for an answer why only 14 polling items are found for this host? (looking into host DS: should be 21)

p.s.
I have probably broken something somewhere, but i would rather fix it than re create hosts or graphs....

Well, somehow i have managed to find out what was wrong...
If someone bumps into it here is the answer:
Fooling around with database does sometimes get messy ;)

2 things (see attached image):
1) unchecked in data queries
2) both DS items set to the same ifInOctes/ifInOctes not ifInOctes/ifOutOctes

This happened somehow 'by itself ;)' when i was moving DB and editing some DB fields.... so be carefull :)
