Reportit for a newB

I am a complete NewB to Cacti.
I installed Cacti a couple of months ago to collect interface usage statistics. This Works really well.

Next step is to create a report to send to my bosses.
I tried installing "Reportit" but I am unsure if it is working as indended.
The Plugin is installed and enabled. In Console view I see the new menu items "Report Configurations" and "Report Templates". When clicking either of these menu items the html formatting goes bad. All Images and CSS is lost.
Other than that it seems to Work OK. I can create and run a reports and then export to XML.
How do I fix the Graphics?

Also the "reports" tab is only visible
Also when creating and running a report, I would like to show Graphs. When I click on the "show Graphs" icon in the upper right corner I recieve the following error msg: "GD library not available - Check your systems configuration".
How do I fix this?
