Combine network graphs

Hi All

I use Cacti to monitor various switches and routers on site, and have all my graphs and weathermaps in place. I also set up a few aggregated graphs, but the totals and graphs does not correspond to the actual inbound\outbound traffic. I'll have a play with this in the future.

However, my question is, how does one combine to graphs (two separate ethernet connections) into one graph to obtain the average inbound and outbound traffic? I want to take two or more interfaces, and import their graphs into one graph, which will display the average inbound\outbound traffic, thus have one graph line for the average inbound, and one graph line for the average outbound.

I tried the method suggested for CPU average (http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8415), making the changes to reflect my needs and setup, but this did not produce any graphs within my Graph Tree.

Help or suggestions much appreciated!

Did u mean do you want to combine 2 interfaces in one graph? you can install plugins aggregate in your cacti. Hope this can answer your questions.

I am using a few aggregated graphs, but the aggregate graphs does not correspond to the original single interface traffic graphs totals. Perhaps I am missing something or need to refer to the documentation again. I just thought there is a way to combine two graphs and calculate the average throughput, without using the aggregate plugin.
