Hey everyone,
I couldn't find any recent posts or posts related to my specific issue. I am sorry if this is a redundant question and if someone could just point me to the right forum post if this has already been asked, I would greatly appreciate it.
I just got my Smokeping installation up and running and I would like to get in integrated with my Cacti server (0.8.8a). I downloaded nmidSmokeping v1.12 and I created a sub directory under plugins called smokeping. I then uploaded the 3 files from v1.12 into the directory and as soon as I do that, I lose my plugin/management area inside of cacti. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Re: nmidSmokePing Installation Question
Hi,
You only should extract the nmidSmokeping plugin to the plugins directory. You should NOT rename the directory, create your own or do anything else unusual to installing a plugin.
The directory structure needs to look like this:
If your directory structure does not look like this, the plugin will not work.
