The new jstree

Hi,
I recently updated cacti using yum update (CentOS 6.4):

Sep 22 09:34:03 Updated: cacti-0.8.8b-2.el6.noarch

After the upgrade the Tree View changed to the new Java Tree applet.
Why was this change done?
The new tree does not look good for me and less convenient to use.
Is there any way to rollback to the old HTML tree?

This change was not (yet) done by Cacti but by your distribution. The license of the old tree does not fit with most Linux distributions.
