Enable syslog on ETH1

I'm running Cacti 0.8.8b - originally used a CactiEZ disk.

My box has two interfaces, Cacti's user interface is bound to ETH0 and I have a private network of devices on ETH1 (which was installed later). I am wanting these devices to be able to send syslog to ETH1 -- just need to know how/if I can config the Cacti Syslog plugin to listen on ETH1.

The Cacti Syslog plugin does not actually run the syslog daemon.

You need to have your syslog daemon listen on eth0 - however, on most Linux boxes, syslog or rsylog listen on all devices (0.0.0.0) by default.

Got it, thanks! For some reason it wasn't listening on ETH1, but I set the IP to the IP for ETH1 and it worked. Maybe I need to go back and try 0.0.0.0 and see if it will listen on both, but this works for now.
