Asterik IP-PBX Statistics (SIP/IAX2 protocols)

Is this thread dead, or can anyone help me get this going?

When I create each graph for the 9 different keys, I get all 9 data sources, leaving me with duplicates. My agents graph shows 0.00 all of the time, all other graphs show NaN.

When I run the python script on the command line, it works every time. Some of the numbers are 0, but they all work, no errors.

I have to run the command one key at a time, is that normal? For example, I type

Code: Select all

./asx-stat.py HOSTNAME core.threads

I get the thread count returned. To get the sip.peers.online count, I have to type

Code: Select all

./asx-stat.py HOSTNAME sip.peers.online

Any ideas?

I been messing around with this script and have not been able to get the graphs to work.

I am able to get results from running the python scripts.

[root@cacti scripts]# ./asx-stats.py host1.ipbx.local sip.users
48

The problem seems to be the graphing when I run a verbose query for the graphs i get the below.

+ Running data query [15].
+ Found type = '4' [Script Query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/cacti/resource/script_queries/asx-stats.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ <arg_num_indexes> missing in XML file, 'Index Count Changed' emulated by counting arg_index entries

Any help gettting this to work would be great as I have serveal asterisk server I would like to monitor.

Hey,

Seems that my graphs are working, but I'm wondering how i need to look at it.

I've got 8 phones registered, and 1 sip account/trunk with a provider...

• - I guess that the 9 peers/users are the total of 8+1?

• - And the 1 online is my sip account?

Is there a way to graph the actual calls?

• - One line with the internal calls

• - One line with outgoing calls

• - One line with incoming calls

• - ...

Hi all.

I know this topic is really OLD but, since Its the only one I have found to monitor asterisk without res_snmp and I had found the asx-stats 0.3.0 and putted here few days ago, I will ask if somebody know:

Im getting blank graphs. For example, sip.users is empty but:

/usr/share/cacti/site/scripts/asx-stats.py HOST --get sip.users asterisk, output: 1192

I dont know why I get an empty graph while asx-stats.py is getting correctly the info.

Any help would be appreciated.
