Error: Only inbound traffic being displayed

Post by lunghurts »

I have a problem with a new install of cacti on Win2K / Apache although I am not sure it is the platform. I am measuring a sub interface of router connected via Frame Relay and the graph is only displaying the inbound traffic. Outbound is listed in graph as "-1.#j".

I am a relative newbie to RRD & PHP but I do know that the router is configured correctly for SNMP as I am still measuring with MRTG.

Please forgive me if this post has already been dealt with elsewhere.

rrdtool on Windows-based platforms display "-1.#j" in the GPRINT when there is no data. It is equivilant to the 'nan' value on Unix-platforms. Regardless, it seems as though the outbound data is not getting to cacti for some reason.

I would look for the data source that represents the outbound traffic of this interface. Click 'edit data' next to it and see what the rrdtool "update" command says. You may also want to check that the ifIndex is correct.
