Monitor page - change the display settings/configuration

Hi all,

At one of my customer sites I have installed Cacti in order to monitor their IT infrastructure. It was my first setup, so far all went well. About 80 devices were added and were configured to 'monitor host' in the device section. They all appear as icons, unsorted on the 'monitor' page. I would like to organize the view by location, device type, etc. I don't know where to or how to do this...
On another customer's site I know it is possible they had installed Cacti years ago, and they had some structure to organize the icons in the Monitor page. So it is possible, see attachment.

I also bought the Cacti 0.8 book but there is nothing in there covering this part I'm afraid.
