Login with Guest without being prompt for a passwd frontend

Post by morya »

Good Afternoon,

I have the following setup:

2x Back-end server polling and storing data (HA Cluster)
1x Front-end server used for graph viewing over intranet or internet

Same kind of configuration as here : http://forums.cacti.net/post-183610.html

On the back-end server i installed the guest plugin and restricted the guest account to a few internal subnets. It works perfectly fine. When i directly point to graph_view.php from a permited IP address i'm not prompted for a password.

The front-end machine access the database on the back-end machine in read only. I can login without any problem when using an existing username configured on the back-end machine. I have to way of accessing the server. Through an intranet URL or through an internet URL. I would like to be able to login through the intranet URL with no password. How can i do it? I guess i'll have to edit auth.php and auth_login.php?

I would like to have it working like the back-end server access.

Cheers

Yann
