Compatibility between OS, cacti, smokeping and nmidsmokeping

Hi,

I read the posts and found lot of people who made installation of all the componant successfully but whithout result at the end because of compatibility problem.
I installed CactiEZ v0.7.
Distrib : Centos 6 x64
Cacti : 0.8.8.a
I want now to install smokeping and nmidsmokeping.
Could you tell me which versions should be available for my configuration.
If somebody have good links for installation, I'll be very happy.

I tried to get this working. I have the same setup as you and digging through these forms I found some templates and the the correct .pl or .php files. I can get the numbers I need, but it won't draw my graphs. RRDtool says OK, but they still don't work. Someone needs create a native ping graph plugin. I tried 2 of them and I can't get either one to work.

The "Nmid Smokeping 1.0" link http://redmine.nmid-plugins.de/projects ... ping/files is unavailable.
I enabled 1.12 version in Cacti console.
Where can I find the nmid settings tab as shown in the topic?

Yes, the page moved to http://blog.network-outsourcing.de/prod ... smokeping/

Goto "Console -> Settings", there should be a new tab called "NMID" available. It's where you set the path, logging, authentication or other plugin settings.
