Hi all!
Mactrack is successfully installed.
Devices (extreme switches) are in status up.
I am able to see mac addresses on all ports of network switches.
I am not interested to see mac addresses via uplink ports (port 49 and port 50).
I am interested only for mac addresses on user ports. What should i do?
I already tried:
Ports to Ignore settings 1:49| 1:50 (Console -> MacTrack Devices -> Switch/Hub, Switch/Router Settings -> Ports to Ignore)
I also would like to receive notification email when the change of the mac address occurs on any of the user ports. How can achieve this?
I would be grateful for any idea or hint.

Re: Ignore ports (macs) and email notification
Helo,
I've the same problem.
My environment:
FreeBSD 9.2
Cacti 0.8.8b
MacTrack 2.9.1
The "Ports to Ignore" is working fine for Cisco switches (C3750), I put: Gi1/0/49.
But for Extreme switches, with Extreme XOS (X440, X450, X460), I simply put: 1:48
but on this port, that for me is the trunk port, I see all the mac-address.
In: Settings -> Device Tracking -> Switch Level Ignore Ports Delimiter is set "Auto Detect".
Any suggestions ?
Thank you very much.
Ciao
Marco
