My weathermap dosen't save the map!

Post by fbarbetta »

Hi,
I have a trouble with the saving of the maps.
I created a map using the editor. Now, "map properties -> Output HTML filename" to save the map in html format, but, after clicking submit, weathermap doesn't save the file "name.html" anywhere on the machine.
When I go on the weathermap windows, i find the statement

"This map hasn't been created yet."

Someone have a suggestion? :-?

tks.

The Cacti poller generates filenames automatically. Look in the weathermap/output/ directory.

If no maps are being generated, it's probably the permissions on that folder. Check your cacti.log and it should tell you. output/ needs to be writable by the Cacti poller user.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Also - you did add the map in the Manage..Weathermaps list, right? The editor doesn't create HTML ever.
